What is an IPO calendar?
An initial public offering (IPO) is when a company sells its shares on a stock exchange for the first time. The IPO calendar lists upcoming offerings with their expected pricing date, price range, number of shares and total offer size.
From filing to first trade
A company first files its registration documents, then sets a price range and markets the shares to investors. The final IPO price is fixed the evening before trading starts. Some deals are postponed or withdrawn when market conditions are weak.

What does the IPO price range mean?
It is the range within which the company and its banks plan to set the final IPO price, based on investor demand. The final price can be inside, above or below the range.
Why are IPOs withdrawn or postponed?
Weak market conditions, low investor demand, a better offer from a buyer or regulatory issues can lead a company to postpone or withdraw its planned IPO.
