How the portfolio tracker works
Add each holding with the quantity you own and the price you paid. The tracker values every position with live market prices, converts everything into the currency you choose and shows the total value, the change over the last 24 hours, your profit or loss against the cost basis and how the portfolio is split between assets.
Private by design
There is no account and no server-side copy: the list is saved in your browser's local storage. Use the export button to keep a backup file or to move the portfolio to another device or browser, and import it there.
Tips for tracking
If you bought the same asset several times, add each purchase: the tracker combines them and recalculates the average buy price. Set a price alert for a holding with the bell button to be notified when it reaches a level you care about.
Frequently asked questions
Is the portfolio tracker free?
Yes. The tracker is free to use, with no premium plan and no sign-up.
Do I need an account?
No. Your holdings are saved in your browser's local storage and are never sent to us. Clearing the browser data removes them, so export a backup file from time to time.
Which assets can I track?
Cryptocurrencies, stocks from the major world exchanges, ETFs and commodities priced in dollars such as gold, silver and oil. Stocks are priced in their trading currency and converted into the currency you select.
How is profit and loss calculated?
Profit or loss is the current value of a holding minus what you paid for it (quantity × buy price), both converted into the display currency at today's exchange rate. Fees and taxes are not included.
